March 2018 – Real Music. Real Downtown.
Freedom Beat, home to America’s tastes and tunes, is now cranking up the volume on its music program. Not only is Freedom Beat offering FREE shows open to ALL AGES, but we’re handpicking Las Vegas’ best local talent to perform in Downtown Las Vegas. Check out these three “can’t miss” artists from our March lineup.
1. Cameron Calloway
Nicknamed the “Soul Child” by COACHELLA Magazine, Cameron Calloway is an up and coming R&B singer in the heart of Las Vegas. Cameron began his music career doing acoustic, then later developed a band with Jason Corpuz on keys, Chris Foster on drums, Brittney Valen on guitar, and Bren Shen on bass.
In addition to performing unique takes on classic R&B songs, Cameron is also a songwriter. Some of his inspiration for his writing comes from artists like Ceelo Green and John Lennon. His favorite original song is titled “extraordinary,” which is dedicated to all women as a reminder that everyone is beautiful and not to let anyone tell them differently.
After years of performing small Vegas venues, Cameron’s career has exploded and landed him gigs at the 2016 Joshua Tree Music Festival, and the 2017 Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival.

2. Ryan Whyte Maloney
Ryan has had a passion for music since a young age listening to everything ranging from rock and metal to country and R&B. He began learning guitar at the age of 9 and knew then that he would pursue a career in music. After many ups and downs through the formation of his band Indulge in 2001 (which later disbanded in 2009), Ryan spent a lot of time writing and by 2010 recorded a full-length album.
Ryan wanted to push his career to the next level, so he auditioned for NBC’s The Voice. After receiving a four-chair turn-around during the blind audition, Ryan ended up on Team Blake making it to the final five. Since his TV debut, he has continued to flourish in Las Vegas performing local venues including Cabo Wabo Cantina, Fremont St. Experience, and of course, Freedom Beat.

She has been performing all around Las Vegas since 2015 at venues ranging from Ellis Island and The Artisan to Downtown Container Park and Eclipse Theaters. Kaylie will be making her debut at Freedom Beat on March 10th during Saturday’s Freedom 2 Brunch.
