July 2018 – Real Music. Real Downtown.
Freedom Beat, home to America’s tastes and tunes, has cranked up the volume on its music program, featuring the best local artists for FREE shows open to ALL AGES in Downtown Las Vegas. Check out these three “can’t miss” artists from our July lineup.
1. Megan Ruger
Megan Ruger began performing at the young age of seven in her hometown of Twin Lakes. Her on stage presence and raw talent led her to open for acts including ZZ Top, Lynard Skynard and Rascal Flatts. Megan wanted to become a household name herself so she took her act to NBC’s The Voice in 2014.
After being eliminated from the show, her career has flourished. Megan has sung the National Anthem at major sporting events and recently released a new studio album entitled “Rockstar.”

2. Patrick Genovese
Patrick Genovese has been a regular Freedom Beat performer for live music downtown Las Vegas since its inception in September 2016. His band, Strung Out Sessions, headlined Freedom Beat for two packed shows. He even co-hosted, with fellow Strung Out Sessions bandmates, the wildly successful City Soundtracks events. His style of music is an eclectic mix ranging from The Beatles and Tom Petty to Willie Nelson and The Foo Fighters.

3. Noelle Chiodo
Las Vegas born and raised, Noelle Chiodo is a singer/songwriter who characterizes her music as pop with a soulful twist. In addition to performing in venues such as Downtown Container Park, Bottiglia Cucina & Entoca and now Freedom Beat, Noelle has been songwriting for club DJs. She recently released her debut self-written, self-titled album that includes pop songs, soulful ballads and catchy lyrics.
