The annual Life Is Beautiful Festival takes place Friday, September 20th through Sunday, September 22nd and goes from 2:00 pm to 1:00 am each day. For many, 1:00 am does not mean the party has to stop, and in Downtown Las Vegas there are plenty of spots to keep the party going long into the night. Whether you’re looking for cheap beer, craft cocktails, or delicious eats, Downtown Grand has something for you.
Late Night Eats
A long day of walking, dancing, drinking, (and eating) can work up a serious appetite. Here are your best bets for late-night food that will hit the spot after a long festival day:
For those hungry late into the night, Freedom Beat is the place to be. Open 24 hours a day, Freedom Beat is great for a big meal to start the day as well as an awesome late-night food stop. With a menu featuring American comfort food created by Hell’s Kitchen season 12 winner Scott Commings, Freedom Beat is the perfect place to grab a hearty meal before continuing the party late into the night or get a quick bite before hitting the hay for a good night sleep before the next festival day. The Freedom Beat late-night happy hour runs from 2 am to 5 am and features half-off prices on all starters, 16 oz draft beers, and craft cocktails.
If you have a large group of friends looking for a place to grab some grub after the festival, Pizza Rock is the perfect place, and many would agree that Italian food is one of the best cuisines to enjoy when you have the late-night munchies. Pizza Rock is a unique dining concept brought to Downtown Las Vegas by 11-time World Pizza Champion, Tony Gemignani. Pizza Rock offers a wide range of specialty craft pizzas inspired by the most famous regions around the United States and the world such as New York, Chicago, Sicily, and Detroit. The Pizza Rock menu also includes other Italian favorites such as Calzones, Meatball subs, Stromboli, and more. If you want to enjoy Pizza Rock’s incredible menu after the festival, you may need to leave a bit early as Pizza Rock is open until 2 am on Friday and Saturday and midnight on Sunday.
Late Night Drinks (And More Eats)
For those looking to keep the drinks flowing and hit the tables and slots after the festival, the Downtown Grand casino floor is the perfect place. With Life Is Beautiful drink specials available throughout the casino, the after-party is never more than a few steps away.
Located right on the casino floor and just steps away from the tables is Furnace, a hip casino bar without the pretentiousness of the common Vegas nightclub. Furnace is a great place to grab a craft cocktail or late-night snack before hitting the slots and tables. Furnace also has a great selection of bar food perfect for post-festival cravings.
Draft Beer and Craft Cocktails
