Life is Beautiful Weekend: What To Do Before the Festival
The Life is Beautiful Festival Weekend is right around the corner and is one of the most exciting times of the year to experience Downtown Las Vegas. For three days locals and tourists alike will pack an 18 block section of Downtown Las Vegas to experience performances by top musicians in Rap, Rock and Roll, EDM, and other genres. Festival-goers will also enjoy food and cocktails by more than 80 chefs and restaurants from the local Las Vegas area and around the country such as Shake Shack, Dutch Bros. Coffee, and more. With the gates being open from 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. daily there are plenty of opportunities each day to pre-game before heading to the festival, and there is no better place to get your pre-game on than Downtown Grand. Here are some ideas and events for getting the party started early.
Life Is Beautiful Pool Parties
The place to be before the festival grounds open is definitely the Citrus Grand Pool deck for the official Life Is Beautiful Pool Party series at Downtown Grand. Featuring great artists such as Jonas Blue and Dashboard Confessional, the rooftop pool deck is the perfect place to meet up with friends, grab a cocktail, and get in the mood for the festival day. One of the best parts of the Life Is Beautiful Pool Party series is that entrance is completely free! However, entrance for guests who are not staying at Downtown Grand is on a first-come, first-serve basis so be sure to RSVP today. Tickets are running out fast, so if you aren’t able to secure a ticket you can still attend by booking a room at Downtown Grand Las Vegas as all hotel guests will receive a wrist band to enter the pool. The pool will feature live music from 9 am – 7 pm each day with headliners playing from 9 am – 3 pm and DJs playing from 3 pm – 7 pm:

Freedom Beat Brunch
Life is Beautiful is an outdoor festival that encompasses 18 city blocks, that means lots of walking! The best place to get energy for a long day of enjoying the festivities is the all you can eat brunch at Freedom Beat from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Freedom Beat Brunch menu focuses on comfort food from America’s heartland and is the perfect choice for stocking up on carbs and energy for the festival day ahead. If you’d really like to get the party started early, Bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Marys are available for $10. Freedom Beat will also feature live music from 11 am – 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday during the festival.

Starting at 8 am Thursday, September 19th until 8 am Monday, September 23rd Downtown Grand will offer $3 Michelob Ultra Drafts at Freedom Beat, Furnace Bar, and Art Bar, as well as a variety of Life Is Beautiful Signature cocktails (Also available at the Citrus Grand pool deck) for only $11:
