Strung Out Sessions Takes Over Freedom Beat Stage
Strung Out Sessions dominated the Freedom Beat stage back in July for their first performance since 2012. After such a successful performance to a packed house, Strung Out Sessions is taking the stage once again this Friday, December 1st at 8:30 p.m.
Here are 5 reasons you should come out for the concert!
1. It’s FREE
Sure, there are many exciting shows and things to do here in Las Vegas, but the unfortunate reality is these typically cost an arm and a leg. Well, Strung Out Sessions is putting on a free show! That’s right; you can dance to all your favorite rock hits and even some classic holiday songs without paying a dime.
2. Las Vegas’ Coolest Rock Band
Strung Out Sessions is made up of 7 immensely talented artists:
Patrick Genovese – Vocals/Acoustic Guitar
Nick Mattera – Vocals/Acoustic Guitar
Rick Duarte – Vocals/Acoustic Guitar
Carlos Guerrero – Vocals/Electric Guitar
Rob Whited – Drums/Percussion
Shaun Flannery – Drums/Percussion
Steve Bonacci – Lead Bass
The band is best known around the city for their incredible vocal harmonies and meticulously arranged acoustic guitar parts. In the first two years after they formed, the band went from playing fan favorites on the casino floor to landing themselves a gig opening for the mega band Foreigner in summer 2012.
3. Spreading the Holiday Cheer
In honor of their holiday show, Strung Out Sessions and Freedom Beat are encouraging guests to bring in canned food donations to benefit the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation.
4. Stuffing your Face
Not only will you get to hear the excellent tunes of Strung Out Sessions, but you can have a delicious dinner at Freedom Beat while you’re rocking out. Can’t go wrong with a plate of America’s Best Loaded Fries — as seen on Travel Channel’s “Food Paradise.”
5. Drink in the Holiday Spirit
Freedom Beat is offering two delicious cheery cocktails that will help get you into the holiday spirit. Both cocktails feature two spiced bourbon favorites:
– Grate of Spices: Wild Turkey, grates of cinnamon, peach puree topped with whipped cream
– Mai-Holiday Mai Tai: Wild Turkey, orgeat syrup, fresh lemon juice topped with orange zest
Cancel your previous Friday night plans, grab a friend, and head to Freedom Beat in Downtown Las Vegas for a night of good fun, amazing music, and delicious food and drink.
